 Could not install the tool so I switched to Recuva. I got stuck on the welcome screen and the Next button does not seems to work (nothing happens). I am working with a laptop Dell XPS M1330 with windows Vista.
 i scanned for the lost wmv file and found it but since i couldn't preview it, i was not ready to pay for the software afraid to find out that the retrieved file might not work after all. So i completely lost the file now. None of the previews worked. It says it can be previewed only after recovery...but of course you'll have to pay first.
 It is not helping my problem. My problem is I have accidentally overwrite an important file by another same name file. And I can't search back the file.

 It is misnamed. I wanted an application to securely wipe an OS from a disk, prior to disposal of the PC. This program should be caled \"File Wipe\".
 I used this program to wipe a number of disks and it worked great. I will keep the program and use it again. Thanks for the great program

Downloaded fine, but didn\'t work. Process stopped at Error, disk in use, or some such wording. I want to wipe my hard drive for recycling and haven\'t found a way to do it yet. Windows xp won\'t even let me format the disk. I don\'t get it.
Could not get disk wipe to boot up to erase the drive.
 I was pleased with the ease of use of the program, and also the results, but i was completely unaware that as it performed the cleanup, it fully used up all the space on my D drive, which put me off using it on my C drive, where my OS is installed. The file was removed automatically after the process, but I will not risk causing instability and would appreciate warning about the temporary file.

I tried to use this utility to undelete pictures from a flash memory card. However, the utility was unable to detect deleted files on the drive. When I deleted files from the drive by using the Windows operating system (OS), however, I could succesfully detect the deleted files. Maybe there's a difference between files deleted by the camera itself or the OS.If someone has some suggestions please let me know.Kind regards,Jeroen Snel

I tried to recover a partition with this and it corrupted an unrelated partition. I was fairly sure I proceeded properly and carefuly so watch out!

Hi'It didn't find the file I was looking for having deleted it completely. I entered the filename exactly but no joy. Perhaps I did something wrong but I don't think so. Your comments would be welcomed.
It Works As promised, here's my review- While I have a looong way to go to solving my original problem, Undelete did exactly what it said it would- It found every file on the harddrive and even recovered some that had been overwirtten- I have yet to check the integrity of all the files but they (the whole 320gig drive) are now setting on another drive to be sorted and otherwise dealt with- Thank you Undelete!
Disappointing, but works. I was excited about the ease of use of the program, but was frustrated that I didnt get everything back, and what I did get back is corrupted, so it cant be used. Now dont get me wrong, all of it wasnt that way, but so far at least a 1/3 of it was. I expected for the price that I would get all of my stuff back, and it would be just as it was before I accidentally deleted it. Overall, I will probably use it again, just because I paid for it, and I dont know of anything any ...

Undelete does not work. I created a simple Excel File (Microsoft Office Excel 2003).My operating system is Windows XP Home Service Pack 2.After saving it I immediately deleted it and then immediately deleted it from the recycle bin.This was all done on my desktop's drive C.I had your software installed on a removable HD, named F.The program could not detect the file I had just deleted from the C drive.
